Asian Law Caucus 50 Years
We are committed to the pursuit of justice across society, with a specific focus on serving low-income, immigrant, and underserved Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. We were founded in 1972 as the nation’s first legal and civil rights organization serving low-income, immigrant, and underserved Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Within that broad political umbrella are shared histories and stories, as well as unique systemic inequities and barriers to justice and freedom for different ethnicities. We are committed to serving the vast diversity of communities of Asian descent, including Arab, Middle Eastern, and Muslim communities. Our fights for justice and equity are deeply informed by and in solidarity with fights for liberation by and for Black, Indigenous, and Latinx communities. In California, with a special focus on the Bay Area, we bring together legal services, community empowerment, and policy advocacy to fight for immigrant justice, economic security, and a stronger democracy. As a founding member of the Asian Americans Advancing Justice affiliation, we also advance national policies and legal strategies on community-based solutions to racist hate and violence, the freedom to vote, and race-conscious college admission, and much more.
The OBIE Awards. The oldest and most prestigious honors for creative excellence in out of home advertising design. OBIE, short for obelisk, refers to the ancient stone pillars that served as the foundation of modern advertising–where posts and pictures informed the masses in town squares across ancient Egypt, and then around the world. For the last 80 years, the OBIEs have honored the best, most innovative, breath-taking activations in our industry. From spectacular digital screens with addressable video to inventive transit takeovers, from eye-popping billboard campaigns to state-of-the-art augmented reality and experiential programs, out of home (OOH) grows every day, in whole new ways. The OBIEs bring you the best designs in our industry–whether complex, layered storytelling or simple, reductionist campaigns–meant to stop time for a moment. It’s no wonder out of home remains the creatives’ favorite medium.

Adobe Art Walks_Seoul, South Korea

He walks us through the exciting development that has shaped the city in recent years.
Adobe MAX Art Walks_ Aalborg, Denmark
Aalborg, a Danish city dating back to the Middle Ages, has found new life as an open-air contemporary art gallery. In less than a decade, a street art movement grew quickly and sustainably, with respect for the urban environment and the authentic character of Aalborg. Small murals that started in overlooked corners and alleys expanded to fill multi-storied walls, contemporary yet complimentary of the city's historic architecture. Follow local artist and co-founder of North Urban Art Studio, Frida Stiil Vium, as she shows the organic growth and symbiotic relationship between Aalborg’s studio and street art.
Adobe MAX Art Walks_Navajo Nation
Along the highways of the Navajo Nation, a roadside revival has begun. A landscape of craggy ridgelines and dusty hues is now dotted with the work of world-renowned and local street artists who have transformed the forgotten structures that line the pavement into celebrated murals that quite literally stop people in their tracks. Seeing these once-abandoned roadside stalls revived by the impromptu stops of passersby is what inspired The Painted Desert Project, a public art initiative that connects artists with short-term residencies in the Navajo Nation.
